At Grădina Palas in Iași, tonight marks the third edition of the Toboșariada event.
A total of 80 complete drum sets have been set up, with a hundred drummers scheduled to perform 11 rock songs.
The event organizer, Ionuț Nistor, mentioned that, compared to previous editions, this year will also feature a workshop by artist Sergio Ponti.
Ionuț Nistor: As a novelty, this year, students who are in their learning phase, discovering the secrets of drums, will have the opportunity to attend a workshop with Sergio Ponti. Sergio Ponti is a seasoned drummer and practical instructor on the Drumeo platform – he will conduct a one-hour workshop to share some secrets from this enjoyable experience. Additionally, there will be two short percussion moments performed by students from the Petran school and the Mitropolit Varlaam school. As for the 11 songs of Toboșariada, the last two songs will be performed live on stage by the Voodoo Child band.
