Mohammad „Medo” Halimy, aged 20, was hit by shrapnel on Monday following an explosion caused by an Israeli missile in Khan Younis, as reported by two organizations he had worked with.
The Tamer Institute for Community Education told BBC that Halimy was near the beach, where displaced persons had sought shelter.

Halimy began filming the situation in Gaza immediately after being forced to flee his home, along with his family.
