French defender Nordi Mukiele, a player of Paris Saint-Germain football team, has been loaned to the German club Bayer Leverkusen, with no buyout option, announced the reigning French champions, as reported by AFP.
Arriving in 2022 at PSG under a five-year contract, the 26-year-old player, often plagued by injuries, failed to establish himself at Parc des Princes and did not catch the eye of coach Luis Enrique since his appointment at PSG last summer.
Mukiele, a player with one cap for the French national team, leaves Paris Saint-Germain with two Ligue 1 titles, won in 2023 and 2024, as well as a French Cup (2024), aiming to revive his career at the reigning Bundesliga champions.
The Frenchman, capable of playing as a central defender or on the right flank of the defense, returns to the German top flight, where he previously played between 2018 and 2022 for RB Leipzig.
